A gift can be anything, big or small.... On this page I'm going to write down a bunch of ideas to help inspire you. Other favorite things received were a massage, a Klondike bar late in the week, and serendipitous meetings. The Black Rock Desert playa is vast, so everyone rides a bike at Burning Man. Baskets and tassels and bells are great gifts, and, because so much goes on at night at Burning Man, bike lights are as well. Fur is everywhere at Burning Man. They love giving hugs at Burning Man, and fur feels lovely to touch, but temperatures also drop at night and it can feel a tad nippy out in the middle of the desert. Do you know how all of the art is made out at Burning Man? Contributions from donors who love art or Burning Man or love the people who love art or Burning Man.
Half the cuisine on the playa contains the cancer-causing, fatty hog meat because, well, 99.4 percent of Burners love bacon. Bacon-themed band-aids, chocolate covered bacon, a Lady Gaga-inspired bacon dress? It’s up to you… It’s not our fault if you are friends or partners with the .6 percent who don’t love bacon. While RVs are now all the rage at Burning Man, there are still those participants that brave the elements of the playa with a little ol’ tent.

I ordered a set of 10 nifty multi-tool cards that I know guys would love, but then I realized the theme for the year was metamorphosis.... And I had written a poem about a butterfly for a friend, which I could adapt and print out as a poem fridge magnet. I also wrote my own poem about burning man which was fun. Here are the two poems I gifted to people as my main gift. I printed probably 50, but I wish I'd printed 100. Last year I got super high and the batteries died in my headlamp and el wire on my backpack.
As a travel blogger, I really love meeting people from different countries, and BRC is a lot more international than I expected . Interested in spinning and practicing your Poi on the playa…? Pick up a couple of these and do it! It’s a fantastic place to do so, and I always personally love playing around with Poi myself. The flow motion can be so therapeutic, that is until you mess up and smack yourself in the face, lol.

No one is expecting a gift from you. No one is going to look down at you for not being f’ing Santa Claus. ;-) Just show up, smile at folks, help out when help is needed, and otherwise join the reindeer games. Too often virgins feel obligated to gift and the gifts are just random trinkets they bought in bulk at Walmart. I think it usually takes a year or two to really understanding what ‘gifting’ means in practice. Usually it just means being nice to people, nothing physical required.

The theme for Burning Man 2016 is “Da Vinci’s Workshop,” so renaissance-themed artwork, literature and style will be all the rage at the upcoming Burn. Get something that will inspire the artist and intellectual in your person. It can also be a really fun way to decorate your campsite! For the price, it really can’t be beaten. While these are meant more for women, I actually think they’re unisex.

Search to find out if your employer has a matching gift program. Recurring giving is an easy, automatic way to support Burning Man Project that works for your budget and schedule. Better to not gift than to gift things that turn into moop imo.
